A Message from David J. Zumpano, CPA/Esq.:
I, like you, am a practicing attorney. I discovered how to run my law firm as a successful business. But, I had to
learn the hard way. I started out as a solo practitioner with a secretary. My practice was unexpectedly paralysed
when my secretary was out for 3 weeks with a family emergency. Reality hit. What about next time? What if it were
ME? What if I had an accident and was out longer? What would happen to my practice and my income, how
would I provide for my family? I also worried because I had no other attorneys to consult with and verify I was
doing everything correct. As my practice continued to grow I struggled with keeping up with all the demand of
clients, referral sources and family. My cash flow became inconsistent. I struggled to find any time to market,
which in turn continued affecting my cash flow. Work for clients was taking longer, their frustrations mounted as did
mine. It was a vicious cycle. Something had to change. I researched my options and over the next 5 years, learned
how to create comprehensive systems and processes that allowed me to market my firm and get all the legal
work done in an acceptable time frame. I am even able to take vacations without sacrificing cash flow. Today my
practice is a business that operates without me (although I’m still in it because I enjoy it). It has also enabled me
the time to create MPS™ to teach other attorneys my systems, formulas and processes, so they don’t have to learn
the hard way. What took me more than 7 years to build; I teach you in 3 days and help you implement in 3 months.
I wish I had someone to do that for me back when I started my practice.
Everything we teach is based on my live law practice (the “Lab”). “I’ve got your back!” Just like you, I am in the
trenches, but I am consistently building new ways to identify and serve client’s changing needs. As market or legal
issues change, I create new strategies to capitalize on them and then share it with our members. The changing
estate tax laws has created a tremendous opportunity to change the way we can help clients protect what they
have worked a lifetime to save. Whether they are concerned about losing their business or assets to a lawsuit,
nursing home or their children’s indiscretions or divorce, our planning solution enables clients to remain in
complete control of their assets with protection from predators.
Since 2001, MPS™ has been teaching The New Way to Practice™, The New Way to Profit™. Our program provides
attorneys and allied professionals the legal technical of Medicaid and Asset Protection Planning, how to
strategically market for clients to distinguish what you do from other lawyers and how to implement the tools and
systems that enable staff to support you to efficiently run a successful practice. The MPS™ trademarked strategies
are easy to learn because our Self-Settled Asset Protection strategies rely on well established fundamental
common law principles, not state or federal specific asset protection laws. Today, after educating more than
1000 lawyers, 300 program graduates in over 44 states, our program has measurable proof. Creating value for
clients getting more work done in less time and making more money isn’t such a bad trade for a professional training
program!
I personally invite you to consider MPS™. Join the hundreds of MPS™ graduates who are able to help clients
and profit at the same time. You can enjoy the practice of law without compromising your personal and family
time, and best of all, you can truly enjoy helping those clients who need you most.
Sincerely,
David J. Zumpano, CPA/Esq.
